"The sex is great and the men seem good enough to eat!"
The small town of Cherokee Pointe, Tennessee is about to encounter another murderer. While everyone is planning the spring wedding of Genny Madoc and Dallas Sloan, a deranged lunatic is lurking behind a polite smile.
Jasmine (Jazzy) Talbot owns and runs Jasmines and Jazzy Place, a local resteruant and bar. Jazzy has encountered many promblems in her life--especially the love and loss of Jamie Upton who has now returned with yet another fiancee. She has no intentions of becoming a rich mans mistress, although according to the townspeople she's a very loose woman, but as you read you learn her reputation is all talk. When a murder is commited Jazzy finds herself the main suspect. Enter a handsome stranger who's going to change her life, and things get really sticky for Jazzy.
Caleb McCord, a sinfully sexy smooth talking southerner, is more than he appears and only Genny knows he's there to change Jazzy's life for the better. When a strange woman appears and looks enough like Jazzy to be her twin more suspicion is thrown at Jazzy. It's up to Genny, Dallas, Jacob and Caleb to clear Jazzy's name.
Caleb and Jazzy hook up and fight throughout the ordeal that Jazzy is going through. Caleb shows her excatly how good lovin' could be if she'd only let herself go. And when she does, the sex is very intense and seems to go on and on--which is awesome in contrast to real life.
When all is said and done, you wonder if they'll be able to hold on to each other as Caleb's true identity is revealed. And, will all the murders come to rest at her feet or will she truly be the last to die at a luntics' hands?
This is the second in the Cherokee Pointe trilogy by Beverly Barton, and I cant wait to see if the sheriff Jacob Butler (who is described as being big as a bear and as snuggly) is able to find himself in love with the mystery woman from this book. I just cant hardly wait. I have really enjoyed these two books. The sex is great and the men seem good enough to eat!
