"...in this book, I was looking for more depth of sexual emotions rather than an overview of the facts of life. I didn't find it."

If you're looking for a book filled with passionate sex and a little romance thrown in, this is the book for you.

However, for me, I found several of the four novellas lacking in what I usually look for in erotic romance...a more indepth storyline than just sex.

There were exceptions to this generalization.

For instance, in HER GUY FRIDAY by Catherine Lundoff, I found fulfillment in the fact that there was a happy ending.

In this story, Susan faced all her fears. Breaking up with her fiance, moving to a new town, and finding a new job. But as faith and fantasy has it, she won justly rewards in the end.

On the way to her new job, she stops for coffee and finds Mark Harrington. Mark turns out in the end to be the man of Susan's--and most womens--dreams. He's great looking, great in bed and rich.

While Mark was a little deceptive in regards to his simply being another co-worker instead of being honest about owning the company, he made Susan's nights worthwhile.

But Susan does find out his "true" identity...after she confesses her love to him. Of which, Mark was greatful to have because he knew she loved him for more than the great "sex" they shared or his money.

This was a story where I thought the balance was shifted...they really should have had more marathon sex. :-)

And in COME FLY WITH ME by Marilyn Jaye Lewis, writing as Jackie de Martini, the addition of Penny's niece into the mix made the story. Generally speaking, this is a nice love story. A little romance, a little fantasy and a little of everything else.

However, the one problem I had with COME FLY WITH ME was that I think the author was going somewhere with Penny's niece's attitude (them being from wealth and having no respect for anyone else, especially her bad manners) but then...nothing. I felt like there should have been some follow through on this aspect of the story.

As morals go, though, one that I got from COME FLY WITH ME is that we tend to get comfortable in a relationship and forget what really makes us happy. So if you are not sexually satisfied...are you happy?

Of all the stories, I enjoyed BIMINI BLUE by Kathy Kulig the most. I like island settings for these type of erotic stories. Who wouldn't want to be Melinda and marooned with a sexy guy like Adam? The chemistry and eroticism displayed in this story is unique and made it stand out from the other four novellas.

Overall, in this book, I was looking for more depth of sexual emotions rather than an overview of the facts of life. I didn't find it.

However, while I'd tell a friend that this book is so/so, I would also say that reading the short stories is probably a very good way to get a feel for each of the authors writing style to see if you would want to read more of their books or not.

Her Guy Friday by Catherine Lundoff

Not only is Mark very wealthy, he's very married! Could things get worse for Susan?

Bimini Blue by Kathy Kulig
Melinda's professional reputation is on the brink of disaster. The last thing she needs is a sexy daredevil like Adam York taking dangerous risks at her expense. She finally lets down her guard, only to find herself marooned on a deserted island with absolutely nothing but Adam York as her skimpy bikini goes sailing out to sea!

The Fruits of Her Labors by Iris N. Schwartz

But if the new lovers don't stop consuming the fruits of her labors, how will Gretchen ever finish her painting?
