"...there are love scenes so steamy they'll make you want a cowboy for yourself!"

It took all of one day to read this story--I couldn't put the book down. It made me laugh out loud, and there are love scenes so steamy they'll make you want a cowboy for yourself!

A Cowboy and a Kiss is about Sophia Addison, a starchy financial attorney with a boring life; the most excitement she gets is from her best friend Sunny, who happens to be a Reno Showgirl. Gray McBride is the sexy cowboy who's running for mayor of Tranquility. He’s been a bad boy in town for quite a while and wants to change that image so his brother will hand over some of the responsibility to the ranch.

Sophia goes to Tranquility, Texas to sell a saloon for Sunny and ends up with amnesia. If that’s not bad enough, she also thinks she’s Sunny the Showgirl. Gray, being the gentlemen he is, keeps an eye on Sunny until she’s back on her feet. The trouble is, he wants to keep more than an eye on her, but she’s not his type anymore because he needs a respectable woman for his campaign. "Sunny" has decided that she isn’t going to sell the saloon--she wants to fix it up into a family place, and this is where all the trouble begins.

A Cowboy and a kiss is so full of humor you would almost think it’s a comedy, until you start getting to the steamy stuff. The love scenes were so hot I wanted to take a cold shower.

And the characters are so refreshing.

Sophia is lucky--how often does a person get the chance to be someone so opposite their true self? I think she had it in her the whole time to be fun and flashy, but she had this ideal of what a successful person was supposed to be like and so she hid the other side of her. The author really hit the nail on the head with this character.

Gray just needed to take control and put his brother in his place. He needed to let his brother know that he could handle more responsibility on the ranch and that he can still be a fun guy to be around.

When Gray and "Sunny" get together, you can feel the chemistry between them. This is a case of opposites attracting. Gray thinks Sunny is a Reno showgirl and all kinds of trouble especially since he’s running for mayor. Sunny doesn’t want to hurt Gray’s campaign by being involved with him.

A Cowboy and a Kiss should be made into a primetime movie, but only if they use the book as is, no adding or subtracting from it. The book was so good that I’m sure to read it again and again.

Book Description for A Cowboy and a Kiss

After a nasty crack on the head, smooth-talking lawyer Sophie Addison wakes up convinced she's Sunny the showgirl, sworn to save the ramshackle saloon she was supposed to be selling for her best friend. That might be good news for the thirsty cowpokes of Tranquility, Texas, but it's a problem for rancher Gray McBride, who's a shoo-in for mayor—if he cleans up the town.

Unfortunately, getting Sunny to see reason becomes a full-time job and threatens what's left of his reputation. Because wagging tongues have noticed that while the gorgeous blonde from Reno can't tell a tango from a Texas two-step, she's saved the last dance for him!
