"...a definite keeper."
Continuing with her War Games series, Vickin Hinze gives us another installment of intrigue and love in DOUBLE VISION. Following Amanda West's story, BODY DOUBLE, Katherine Kane goes in search of Americans that have been taken hostage by a crime lord, Thomas Kunz, and doubled in order to infultrate positions in America's government.
Kate travels to an undisclosed location in the Middle East after receiving a "package" that's ultimately a message from a collegue who'd worked on another mission with her. She's immediately thrown into a situation of danger and then involved in a battle of wills and ultimately love with a higher ranking officer, Nathan Forester. Nate had been commanding the mission where Kate met the collegue who'd sent her the message. Once Nate had heard her voice and easy banter, he'd been hooked whether he liked it or not.
By the end of this story, working as a team Kate and Nate had taken out another GRID facilitiy...but the leaders had escaped again leaving the next WAR GAMES story to be told.
I enjoy every book by Ms. Hinze and will continue to read the WAR GAMES series. I'm looking forward to reading a each of the good guy's stories. If they're anywhere near as good as Kate's it will be a definite keeper.

For the terrorist holding the hostages was none other than Thomas Kunz, a diabolical man who'd found a way to replace U.S. government agents with look-alikes. Which meant Kate couldn't trust just anyone. Asking for Major Nathan Forester's help was a calculated risk — and one Kate might regret once the commanding Forester started dogging her every move. With seconds counting down and hundreds of people depending on Kate's skills to save them, it was time to be even sneakier than the bad guys.…
