"... a quick read that gives us a glimpse into the world of newspaper reporters..."

Melissa Conner and Spencer Reed are attending a wedding—just not their wedding.

Melissa and Spencer both work for the local newspaper, Melissa as a reporter and Spencer as the City Editor. Not only does Melissa consider Spencer a good friend, but she has been lusting after him for the last few years.

After an intimate encounter during the wedding reception, Melissa fears Spencer wants to be just friends again. But she's surprised when he asks her to join him on vacation in Aruba. After becoming more than friends, Spencer’s fear of hurting Melissa causes him to back off and Melissa's fears seemed proved right. Will it take losing her to make Spencer realize the love he has for her?

Hot Off The Press is a quick read that gives us a glimpse into the world of newspaper reporters and how even when best friends become lovers they have the same struggles, insecurities, and fears that other couples do. I enjoyed this debut book from author Erin Katz and am looking forward to reading her next story.
